1. What is your educational background? 

1. • I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Jacksonville State University.

   • I also have a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Univeristy of North Alabama.

2. What is your experience?

• Previously, I have been a college counselor and now I currently work as a school-based counselor at a middle school.

4.  Are my sessions confidential? 

Whatever you say in session will stay confidential UNLESS:

•  The client poses an imminent danger to themselves or others 

• The therapist suspects physical, sexual, or emotional abuse to a child, elder, or someone who has disabilities.

• If the client has given permission for the therapist to share information about their case.

• If the therapist receives a qualifying court order. If this were to happen we would be sure to discuss it. 

5.  Do you offer in-person appointments?

• Yes! I will be seeing clients in Madison county and have a current waitlist to see clients in person. 

6. Do you take insurance?

• I do not take insurance. I do offer a sliding scale fee for all clients and have a limited amount of reduced-fee sessions for clients experiencing financial hardships. If the client is experiencing financial hardship please inform Raven during the consultation call and she can determine if the client is eligible for reduced-fee sessions. The sliding scale is subject to change each year beginning in January. 

7. What are your rates?

• Rates start at $105.00 per session. Sliding scale rates are offered to clients but income verification is required.

  • A sliding scale means the price of the session is based on the yearly salary of the client. Please see the table below.
